This week was slower due to absences from teammates so I experimented with some grassy field generation.
I used XGgen for this attempt and liked the product, except I didn't get far enough to make it move in the wind. That's a must for this short. I have some other ideas and references to workshop, but unfortunately, the most important tasks currently do not include grass.
Right now, our priority is rendering the entire short with lighting (no viewport renders) and starting new passes of animation. Luckily, I am in charge of rendering so I don't have to wait for anyone else which is best for the team atm. Since I'm here, it's great that I'm in charge of the first step.

In terms of animation, we still need to discuss how we will approach that process and split it up. I guess that we'll go scene by scene and break up the shots between people. Animation is easy that way because you don't have to worry about stylistic changes too much.
