Leading up to the next production pass I've still been rendering the short to eradicate all the viewport renders. I only have two more scenes to render, and one of the difficulties I've been facing is how long each shot takes to open, light, and render. We have over 50 shots in the short and each one takes about thirty minutes to an hour. This has slowed down my task by a lot, and I believe it's due to how heavy the shots are. Luckily, as I'm moving through them, I am optimizing each file simultaneously with the renders.

With each shot rendered, I pull them into our working animatic and update our short with this method. This has become a streamlined process where it is easy for each teammate to see where errors are and which shots require help. Above is a good example because there are flashing textures that need re-rendering updates. My goal for this week is to finish rendering/basic lighting and work on grass implementation over the weekend. I believe we're presenting on Wednesday which gives me some more time to add the field.
