Fighter Kites - Progress Check No. 9

This week was super important for my project just because of how much of the main character model I completed. Every part of the base mesh is done, apart from connecting the shoulders to the torso.
I made a grave mistake by starting the body in separate pieces - so I modeled the legs and torso apart from the shoulders and head. I wasn't thinking of the topology count, and now I have to spend a little more time connecting the pieces together. I also modeled the hands separately and need to connect those to the wrists.
With that said, I am super excited for next week because it's finally ZBrush time! I have all my inspiration ready and I am so hyped to get that in there. My goal in ZBrush is to smooth everything out and make sure all the proportions are to my, and my team's, liking. It's much easier to play around with that in ZBrush rather than in Maya (vertex by vertex). Otherwise, I am very pleased with where the model is at - and so ready to see it prepared for clothing/rigging.
