Pre-Production - Progress Check No. 5 (FINE 3845)

With our new thesis teams, getting to know them and their workflow is my priority. I find it easy when we all have a set collaboration time in the week, which happens to be this class! Thinking back, I honestly haven't worked with any of these individuals on a collaborative basis before, and our Star Wars diorama assignment was my first chance to work with them. The past week and a half taught me that I am extremely lucky to have this team.

The amount of trust we had in each other to get things done and stay organized was incredible, and I haven't done any teamwork with a better group of people. The personal responsibility they held themselves to impressed me and made me confident for our next three semesters. The best part about it is that I thoroughly love their personalities and simply working alongside them.

Working with these guys felt like a symbiotic system, especially when we found ourselves in front of roadblocks. With the Unreal Engine project disintegrating in front of our eyes, we remained positive and calm and just kept going. The sheer amount of YouTube videos I watched the day before the deadline was laughable.

Due to this project being my team's priority at the moment, we needed to place the thesis storyboarding on the backburner since we still have a week for the animatic. Even though it would be ideal for us to work on both projects simultaneously, I am so happy I had a chance to complete a project with them because I feel like I got a great grasp of their characters (and I'm sure they did the same with me ;))
